Building Regulations & Your Legal Requirements
When considering replacing the windows and doors in your Home or adding a stylish new conservatory you must consider the legal requirements that have to be adhered to as set by the government.
It is now a legal requirement for all replacement windows, doors and conservatories installed in homes to carry a European CE marking and to be supplied with supporting documentation. In addition to this all products must be installed by tradesmen who have passed a Minimum technical competency.
This initiative has been introduced by the Government as a way to crack down on rogue companies and offering you the house owner peace of mind and protection against products that do not meet the required Building standards and against poor workmanship. The CE Marking initiative is policed by the Trading Standards of whom you can register a complaint with if you are suspicious that the products installed into your property do not meet these required standards who will then investigate.
At Mister Window Company all our products carry the following compliance required by the latest building regulations:

In addition to the above all our staff are fully qualified tradesmen in their own field and can produce for you an identity card that shows they have passed the Minimum Technical Competency training.
